CAIPA Social Daycare is a subsidiary of the CAIPA Foundation, Inc., which is a not-for-profit organization with 501(C)(3) tax exempt status. CAIPA Foundation receives its donations mainly from physician-members of the Chinese American IPA(CAIPA). CAIPA is the largest practitioner group in the greater New York Asian-American communities with more than 900 members and affiliates. We provide service in English and Chinese including Mandarin and other dialects such as Cantonese, Taishanese, Taiwanese, Hakka, Shanghainese and Hunanese.
MISSION & GOALS
Our Mission is to provide the highest quality and regulatory mandated appropriate services, to seniors in the Asian-American communities. Our goal is making sure that seniors in our communities receive culturally sensitive care and services that would offer them a secured, peaceful and better quality of life.
We offer many social activities, learning sessions, outings, birthday parties, exercise classes, crafts, calligraphy, dance, Tai Chi, Zumba, Karaoke, mah jang, chess, and card playing to our members.
Most importantly, each member will receive a physcial and cognitive function assessment, and if necessary, and individualized care plan and recommended activities and services.
